Get politically involved and try to be on the right side of history. It is the status quo that is destroying the biosphere and we desperately need the kind of political revolution championed by Bernie Sanders during the 2016 primaries. We wish it were as simple as a partisan problem, but it's far more complicated than that, a rigged system where corruption knows no party affliiation. With that said, let us also acknowledge that the Republican party is and has been more aligned with the factions contemptuous of environmental protections and social justice.
If you are already involved, you can work to establish some annual deep demonstration dates. Protests are reactive, deep demonstrations are proactive.
